Eagle Man, Ed McGaa told me that the Lokota people speak of Mother Earth and Father Sky. That we of the Earth should listen to the Standing Ones ( the trees and flowers ), the Winged Ones (the birds), the Fins (the fish), the Crawling Ones (the bugs), the Four‑Legged (the animals), and the Two‑Legged (our human brothers and sisters), as spiritual entities to honor and respect. Here in the Healing Garden of Dana Farber Cancer Institute we can listen to many of our spiritual brothers and sisters and be aware of the healing as guided by the doctors, nurses, and staff. This is just the beginning.
